Each Surf + Board piece begins as a dialogue between object and environment. The surfboard and its hand-built panel are laminated concurrently, bonded by a unique process that aligns them as one cohesive sculpture.

A precision mounting system allows the board to be removed with ease, revealing a clean, laminated silhouette - an art piece in its own right.

Once taken to the ocean, the board performs its primary function and with each session, its surface acquires a unique patina - the subtle marks and memories of its time in the water. When returned to the wall, the evolving surface creates a compelling contrast with the panel’s untouched state, transforming the work into a living document of its own history.
